Something interesting

Turning that creativity

into a power of the city

President greetings

Create a city that you are proud of and attached to, and become a co-creation developer

Under the government's Ikebukuro sub-center redevelopment plan, Sunshine City Corporation began redevelopment of the East Ikebukuro area and opened "Sunshine City" in 1978 after overcoming numerous challenges. This large-scale complex with diverse functions has evolved with the times, providing "something interesting" that stays in the memories of our customers and accompanies them in various scenes of their lives.

To create and share inspiration with those who live, work, visit, learn, and will meet in our city, fostering a sense of pride and attachment, we uphold "something interesting, turning that creativity into the power of the city" as the mission of the Sunshine City Group. We believe that our happiness is to continue to be needed by society by providing value that only we can create.

Our goal is to create a "people-centered walkable city" in the Ikebukuro area that continues to attract people and is full of charm. We will play a central role in bringing together the thoughts of the residents, the intentions of the administration, and the unique wisdom and ideas of companies, so that people from diverse backgrounds can work together to develop the city.

We value the growth of each employee, our passion for the city, the knowledge and creativity we have cultivated, and our connection with everyone. Sunshine City Group will continue to challenge without hesitation towards a sustainable society where "something interesting" will continue to happen for years to come.
